My favorite "little gal" and I
scurried off to catch this animated feature about a boy genius inventor, who
is both responsible for the abduction of all the parents, as well as
their return to safety. There is a strange reference to an Alien God in
this film that seems awfully weird to me. I didn't see the point.
"Little gal" thought the movie was funny. If it was good
enough for her, it was good enough for me--just to get to be with her.

John Q is totally unrealistic in that one man
can take a hospital hostage, but hey...John's heart is in the right place.
The whole city thinks so, so it must be so. Denzel Washington and
Kimberly Elise give heartrending performances as grief stricken parents
of a child in need of a heart transplant. James Woods, Robert Duval
and Anne Hesche co-star in good although type-cast roles. John Q dares
to ask and answer the age old question: would you give your own life to save
someone you love?
